Please try again later. Verified Purchase. Most people who are reading this have watched most or all of SoA, and many other reviewers have covered the show in their contributions, but I MUST review the packaging the set comes in.
Most complete season sets come in 'books' with cardboard sleeves that you slip the discs in and out of. Not this one!
Inside the cardboard wrapper was two gigantic hard cases that look like, and are the same color as, a regular blu ray.
Inside these cases are two Rolodex-style blu plastic holders that you flip through for each disc. This is a far more suitable option than cardboard sleeves that constantly rub the readable surface of your discs each time you pull them in and out.
I've included pictures, probably far too many pictures if I'm being honest sorry. But if I'd seen what the set comes in ages ago when I first considered buying the box set?
I would have bought it then strictly because of the lack of those terrible cardboard sleeves. Hopefully this review is helpful to someone else out there like me, who values the container nearly as much as the contents.
Thanks for you time, hopefully someone finds this valuable. I ordered this before I read the reviews and realized this may be an import which it is because the sticker on the DVD case said it was from the U.
The first set of disks are for regions A and B. The second set are for A,B and C. Netflix has removed SOA. New viewers every day and each of them watches this series over and over.
Myself included. Every single case was broken on both ends. Inside the things that hold the discs were broken, so discs were loose and the construction of the case seems cheap.
It looks like a cheap bootleg version, like someone printed the dvd cover inserts on their computer and sucks at Photoshop. The outside is like thick paper wrapped around the DVDs.
Very disappointing that two of the discs were defective. Season 4, disc 3 and Season 5, disc 2. I had previously purchased the entire series four times in different group packages.
I purchased them at Wal-Mart. Each of the four purchases had the same defects. Season four, disc 3 and Season 5, disc 2 were defective in all four purchases.
Now, my order from Amazon is exactly the same. I'm sad and frustrated at the same time. I use to watch this on the. But, missed so much of it.
So, as a late birthday gift to myself I got it. It shipped out fast. Package was great. Individually wrapped. All new.

The action scenes are right out of the A team. I watched the whole of the first series in the hope it would warm up.
It just got worse. I apologise now to whoever buys this from the charity shop it is heading to. Strong clear image, the audio sometimes changes pitch, though, has all the special features.
Comes divided in two cases with simple design. Highly recommend! The dvds are not good quality. And another dvd plays a few scenes the rewinds back and plays them again over and over.

Now I am dropping it to 3 stars as I am having problems with other discs in season 4 also I was willing to upgrade my review but I have not heard a response back so I am forced to revaluate my review I was hoping that you would help me out as I am unable to watch 3 episodes on season 3 and 3 episodes on season 4 I have not tried to watch anymore episodes because so many are not watchable to me the series isn't worth the time and effort to try and follow.
I bought this in good faith and now the product I bought I cannot even enjoy If you help me out with this problem I will upgrade my review.
Product delivered with plenty of broken items. Every season ether has cracked cases keeping them from latching shut or split right down the middle.
DVDs loose in case during shipping and have been scratched. When trying to watch just keep skipping. Son's of Anarchy is a great series to watch.
I had seen it previously and wanted to get it for my guy at Christmas. Tabs were broken in the case but that's normal with shipping movies. The discs themselves all worked just fine.
For those who can't get them to play perhaps your blue ray player needs an update. Most of them come with that function. I've ordered several movies from Amazon and I have never had a problem with them playing yet.
The packaging of this series is impressive. I tend towards shows that demonstrate integrity, strength, willingness to do the right thing at all costs.
There is a moral to this story and that is violence and lying corrupt the soul. I did like the brotherly love and the familial love; however violence corrupted that too.
