I think this is really for the fan base but I'm glad they did it and corrected that huge mistake the movie made no spoilers here though.
I personally could've used more touchy-feely scenes between Michael and the good doctor but I'm not complaining Is a season six too much to ask?
Anyone with me? I was going to return them but we missed the return deadline by a day. AWFUL product! One person found this helpful. Was better then expected as I wasn't sure what to expect with the newest Season but I loved all the past seasons and I knew the cast and crew put a lot of time and dedication into this last season and you could definitely tell with how well it came out.
In my opinion it was well thought out and I just loved every episode. Wish it would have had one more episode at the end to tie off everything all together as for ending overall but it kind of lets you make up your own ending with how it would end and that's fine too.
It ties up all loose ends I am just referring to more of as a whole family wise, wish it would have elaborated more or put more time into being a family at the end with Michaels son and Sarah.
Thrilled that they brought this back and done in a really "believable" way as believable as PB can be, that is! Not as great as the original series, but was happy to see the cast and series again.
It will cost me more to return it then what I paid for it. Some region issue as its not from this country and you can't get it from the USA.
So now I am stuck with something I cannot even watch or return as its not in its original shrink wrap. Seasons really good.

I loved the characters from the original series so a sequel seemed awesome. Unfortunately this is slightly disappointing.
Some of the main characters from the original series just did not get anywhere near enough time or importance in this story T-Bag, Sucre and especially Kellerman It just seemed disrespectful.
The other thing is it all progresses WAY too quick. I appreciate that this is a mini-series but it was all happening so quickly with no build-up, I know this is fiction but it just felt so forced and unrealistic.
The story itself, whilst it had a few nice plot twists, was also not much to look at really. It was nowhere near as compelling, interesting and shocking as in the original series.
Another really irritating thing is that LJ is pretty much not even mentioned in this season I think he may be mentioned in one sentence once?
Literally forgotten about and it just doesn't sit right with me. The ending, whilst happy for once, doesn't really decide whether it leaves open a door for any more episodes or not.
I did enjoy seeing the characters from the original series again and it is worth a watch but ultimately it has left me a bit disappointed.
I think given the fanbase the idea for a sequel was excellent but it just was not executed anywhere near as well as it could have. I think it doesn't help that most of the characters simply haven't made massive careers and have done little of note apart from the original Prison Break.
After all this time their average acting ability is exposed. My expectations were low on this new series It's a shame there were only 9 episodes and the box set is over priced, but I'm grateful to have it, as I did fear this series would never be released in the UK to buy.

Will be looking for another source, maybe Hulu. The series is really interesting - a new kind of back story and escape plan never seen before in this genre.
And these poor characters make two steps forward and one step back, at every turn. I found myself shouting "NO! Loving the unpredictability, the excellent acting, and good writing.
Note to Amazon: with the increasing cost of Prime, it would serve you well to adjust your prices so that the everyday person could continue to watch via your service.

I remember watching this with my mom when I was a young girl, we hyped up this show to everyone. I really enjoy this show, I like a lot of the old stuff even though I'm a teen.
Unlike other teens I do not like this new age stuff its trash, there will never be another prison show like this. My mom had a crush on Wentworth then she found out he was gay years after the show ended,ah good times.
I totally think this is worth buying the story line is never dry with it's twist and turns and who can forget T-bag, Robert did such a great job playing him he is one of the best bad guys I've come to know.
This first season of Prison Break is one of the best and most innovative things ever to hit television. While the series may have floundered in later episodes and is never at its best when trying to be all things to all people conspiracy theories, anyone?

I am a new fan of the series and admit that I never had taken the time to watch any of the episodes while they were on air but I am certainly glad I checked it out now because it is a fantastic series!
It took me just a few episodes to become hooked and the thing I love most about this show is that just when you think you have things figured out, it pulls a complete on you and I love when a show can do that.
It does not happen all that often and when it does, you know you found something worth watching. I have heard that the rest of the seasons get to be a bit much in terms of being on the outlandish and unbelievable side of things, however this first season does not feel like that to me.
I mean, come on, most shows are going to be far fetched anyway simply because of the fact that it is fiction and it is meant to entertain so I really do not think there is anything wrong with that.
I am always pumped to watch the next episode wondering how they could possibly top the one before. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone that is ready to be on the edge of their seats for the better part of an hour.

Does it sound over-complicated? It does, because it is. While working on the escape, Michael, a control freak and a genius, interacts with a dozen inmate characters, ranging from mid-level Mafia types, to unjustly convicted, to unlucky, to mentally deranged, to truly sadistic, vicious murderers.
And, there's the world outside. He has friends who help him and his brother has extremely powerful enemies - how does the President of the U.
This is a GREAT series, in fact my overall favorite and the Blu-ray version takes advantage of the higher screen resolution.
I do not believe that there are any gee-whiz, Blu-ray specific extras on this bundle but I don't care much for extra anyway.
I am just happy to watch the actually show in high definition. We own seasons 1, 2, and 3 already and we are looking forward for the upcoming Season 4 release - sorry, there's way too much suspense for me to watch this on TV, one weekly hour at a time.

Die Handlung ist genial und auch die Schauspieler sind ganz stark. Translate review to English. An astonishingly brilliant series. I have to say when I purchased it I didn't expect such a masterpiece, and I was entirely wrong.
I am now into part 2 series 2, and there has not been one single episode that has left me even remotely bored, or even drifting.
It has everything. First, a perfect mix of characters, from Lincoln - the strong silent type trying to avoid the electric chair, to his brother Scofield, the more articulate and clean cut of the two, and the brains behind the group of escapees.
Then there's the psycho mental patient, whose psychosis enables him to memorise in detail Scofield's elaborate tattoo, which ultimately lands him a ticket out, then there's the best villain on telly in the history of TV villians - Teabag - who is beyond amazing I think he won some awards for this role, and well earned , able to be charming and even likable whilst at the same time being a complete, violent psycho who will do just about anything without hesitation or conscience.
Some of the lines he throws out, with that gentlemanly southern accent, both curdle your blood and make you squirm in delight.
Then in Season 1 there is Victoria played by our favourite little angry minx from the Mentalist, Robin Tunney , who plays Lincoln's ex girlfriend turned solicitor as who is very much like her character on the Mentalist.
Then there's a mafia dude with connections to a plane, Then there's Scofield's Puerto Rican cell mate, who is a good bloke only doing a 16 month stint but who wants to break out to be a family with his pregnant girlfriend before his cousin steals her away, Then there's the old boy, who apparently has stashed 5 million dollars somewhere in the event he ever gets out, Then there's the kid Tweener , the prison grass, Then there's the ex soldier who is lying to his wife and daughter who still think he's fighting away in Afghanistan, and the list goes on.
The show brilliantly and effortlessly makes the cons the good guys, and most of the correctional officers "Bellick" does an amazing job as an oafish, slightly stupid CO who still lives with his mum and police, the feds including a pill popping, dirty one with a few rather large skeletons in his closet , and even the president, the bad guys.
Apart from the warden who is a good man who seems to empathise with the prisoners. As well as doctor Sarah, Scofield's love interest, a former addict who is actively rebelling against her pro establishment governor dad.
And I didn't even recognise Holly Valance at first, as her eastern european accent was very convincing in her role as Scofield's recently immigrated girlfriend on the outside, and she did a good job.
The pace of the show is perfect. And the writing is so clever that just when you think you can predict what's going to happen, the game changes.
It seems a very realistic portrayal of life in a maximum security prison, and then, once they break out, a bit of a stretch how they manage to evade the law for so long, but it's all simply delicious.
Particularly how Scofield always manages to outwit and make a mockery of the FBI and everyone else they come across.
